Dynamic Anatomy Collection

“The body is at the core of human creativity and the desire for its modification into an object of beauty is an essentially human creative practice. From the time of the ancient Greeks in the 15th century BC, the human form and appearance has been considered as a proper and predominant subject matter of the artist. Dynamic Anatomy or Artistic Anatomy, presents a unique, detailed study of the human figure by emphasizing the relationship of mass, movement, and emotion…”

“WOW ! I love this painting.  It is exactly how I’m feeling these days~ loving my body and adorning it with full blown colour.  I would design a huge bathroom around it.  Picture a tower of luscious towels in a rainbow of those strong hues and a mirror the same dimensions as the canvas…hung on the opposite wall so that when you stand before it, you see yourself AND the painting…like you are inside it.  The walls would be done in neutral raw canvas texture.

Picture a free standing vanity shaped like a wooden painters palette with a glass sink in the thumb hole.  Finish with a huge glass vase filled with a bouquet of antique artist’s brushes.  Damn…if I had money and a gutted industrial space….I’d start today !!!!!!”

It reminds me of the ancient traditions of exaggerating the female form to draw out its sensuality and fertility.  In a way – it is like two Brazilian dancers at carnival, before the days we got prude and covered them up.  This is pure (e)motion, and a celebration of life.  Bravo.”
